New Save as Template Feature Released by TabSite

Now, create your own Templates!

Use your template on other fan pages you Admin, or within the same fan page as another main tab!

TabSite is pleased to release a major enhancement to our Fan Page Management Platform.  “Save as Template” allows you to save a tab you have built as a new template that you can then use on any other fan page you also have a TabSite plan for.

Perfect for Fan Page Admins who have similar content on different fan pages, or simply for efficiency in creating multiple custom tabs.  Using the “Save as Template” feature allows you to create your own templates that bring across all the features and widgets used.

Below are details of where to find the feature and where templates are saved in your TabSite Manager.

All your saved templates appear in the “Templates” area on the right side of your TabSite Manager under the Widgets and Layers areas.  Simply click on “Templates” and you can view the templates you have saved.  All templates you saved are available to you on whichever TabSite fan page account you are working on .  So if you save a template from “fan page 1”, then open fan page 2, the template is available to you to add to on fan page 2, simply by dragging the template to your tab work area!

Tips & Ideas for using Templates:

  • Perfect for restaurants and others with multiple locations.  Create one template, apply to multiple tabs or multiple fan pages, then finish customizing for that particular tab/page.
  • Each template saves all widgets and input you added to the template.  The location where you add the template will get all features brought over as long as the TabSite Plan level is equal or greater.
  • Social Media and Web Agencies with offices in multiple cities can use the templates to more efficiently create fan page content for each fan page in each city by using the “Save as Template” feature.
  • Each Template becomes it’s own unique tab/sub-page where placed.  They are not linked but unique and independent.
  • Templates are tied to Users.  This means that only templates you save are in your “Templates” area for use.  To give a Master Admin access, you need to save and then add the template to the destination.
  • The new “Save as Template” option is available at all TabSite plan levels!

Go ahead, create your own templates!  Just another reason why TabSite is a globally leading fan page management platform!
