UPDATE: January 16, 2011 – Now PhotoShow slideshows can be set to autoplay and advance automatically based on selecting the number of seconds to display each image.
TabSite offers a great slideshow widget at our Silver and Gold Plan levels called PhotoShow.
With PhotoShow you can easily create a slideshow of images such as your products, portfolio, or team for example, that visitors can easily click through.
TabSite’s PhotoShow is easy to resize and scale on your fan page and each image can have a url that links to a webpage of your choice.
We have a simple video tutorial of how to setup your fan page and a few image screenshots below.

Like-Gate from TabSite – Easy Fan-Gating with Power!
Like-Gate from TabSite – Easy Fan-Gating with Power!
TabSite’s Like-Gate for Drag N Build tabs exponentially improves upon the existing ‘reveal tab’ image option for Fan-Gating. The non-fan, Fan-Gating feature allows TabSite users to go beyond just loading an image and allows users complete access to the TabSite suite of tools and widgets to customize a Reveal Tab (fan-gating tab) to display to new visitors who have not yet “Liked” the Page.
Like Gate is available to all Gold & Platinum Plan TabSite users and is the recommended solution to create custom content only shown to new visitors. All features of TabSite are available to use in the Like-Gate builder area.
NOTE: With Engagement Apps, Like Gate is a image setup in the setup process per Engagement Tab.
This means you can add a video if you wish, a special text message, images, or use other widget tools like a PhotoShow for just the Like Gate. This exponentially expands the capability for TabSite users to give a custom message to new visitors via a reveal tab (Fan-Gating).
Fan-Gating is setup “per tab”, meaning you would need to open a tab in the TabSite Manager and then click “My Sub-Pages” to access the Like-Gate for that tab.
This would open a Like-Gate content area for you to add/create the content for your fan-gating Like-Gate for that tab.
Step 1:
Open the tab you want to add Like Gate to.
Step 2:
On that tab, go to the “My Sub-Pages” link and select “Like Gate” from the drop down. This opens the Like Gate area where you create your content for the Like Gate (content that you want the non-fan to see upon clicking the tab.)
Step 3:
Click “Save” to save the page or “Save and Publish” to save the Like Gate content and to make it active.
Step 4:
Click on the tab again and this opens the default page for that tab. This is the content area a visitor see’s after going through the Like Gate and Liking your page. Finish this content and “Save”. Use “Save and Publish” to make this content live.
If the tab is not on the Facebook Page, click the Pencil next to the tab name in the TabSite Manager and select “Add to Page” from the drop down.
Click “Save & Publish” from the “Save” drop down at any time while working on your Like Gate to save your work and make it active (published).
You can also access the Like Gate per tab by going to My Sub-Pages, then “Open Sub-Page” view and “Like-Gate” link is at the top of the box as shown below. This is also where you can turn on/off “yes/no” the Like-Gate to be active or not active. Green light is active, red light is non-active. (SEE BELOW)
Use your template on other fan pages you Admin, or within the same fan page as another main tab!
TabSite is pleased to release a major enhancement to our Fan Page Management Platform. “Save as Template” allows you to save a tab you have built as a new template that you can then use on any other fan page you also have a TabSite plan for.
Perfect for Fan Page Admins who have similar content on different fan pages, or simply for efficiency in creating multiple custom tabs. Using the “Save as Template” feature allows you to create your own templates that bring across all the features and widgets used.
Below are details of where to find the feature and where templates are saved in your TabSite Manager.
View of the “Save” Dropdown area where you select “Save as Template”:
All your saved templates appear in the “Templates” area on the right side of your TabSite Manager under the Widgets and Layers areas. Simply click on “Templates” and you can view the templates you have saved. All templates you saved are available to you on whichever TabSite fan page account you are working on . So if you save a template from “fan page 1”, then open fan page 2, the template is available to you to add to on fan page 2, simply by dragging the template to your tab work area!
Tips & Ideas for using Templates:
Perfect for restaurants and others with multiple locations. Create one template, apply to multiple tabs or multiple fan pages, then finish customizing for that particular tab/page.
Each template saves all widgets and input you added to the template. The location where you add the template will get all features brought over as long as the TabSite Plan level is equal or greater.
Social Media and Web Agencies with offices in multiple cities can use the templates to more efficiently create fan page content for each fan page in each city by using the “Save as Template” feature.
Each Template becomes it’s own unique tab/sub-page where placed. They are not linked but unique and independent.
Templates are tied to Users. This means that only templates you save are in your “Templates” area for use. To give a Master Admin access, you need to save and then add the template to the destination.
The new “Save as Template” option is available at all TabSite plan levels!
Go ahead, create your own templates! Just another reason why TabSite is a globally leading fan page management platform!
