TabSite Releases New Tweet Tool for Twitter Widget

TabSite offers an additional social feature to help fan page Admins build more interactive tabs and create more fan engagement.

Available to all Gold Plan TabSite users, the new Tweet tool within the Twitter Widget gives Gold Plan TabSite users yet another easy tool to boost viral sharing.

Studies have shown that the “Tweet” button is one of the most commonly used social sharing buttons on the web.  Users are quite quick to press the button and share content from the page they are on.  Now with the ability to easily add this to your fan page custom tabs, it’s a no-brainer to add the Tweet button to your TabSite tabs!

All TabSite tools, including the new Tweet feature, are easy to use and require no coding knowledge!  Simply drag the Widget to your tab in the TabSite Manager and then select the Tweet This feature.

TabSite Admins can then select the Tweet button to have a horizontal, vertical, or no count displayed.  As well, the Admin can specify the url and text to be included in the tweet.

2. Select ‘Tweet This‘ tab to start setup within the Twitter Widget.  Enter url to Tweet, enter text to be in Tweet, and select the style of Tweet button to display.

3. Press Accept and then position the Tweet button exactly where you want on your tab.  Save and publish your tab.  Done!

Again, the new feature within the Twitter widget is available to all TabSite Gold Plan users at the affordable $19/month plan which gives you access to a full suite of powerful tools for your fan page!

TabSite Launches iFrame Widget

iframe_widget.pngOur goal at TabSite is to continue to bring businesses and organizations innovative and useful fan page tools to make customizing and managing your fan page easier and faster.

We are excited to offer the iFrame Widget. 

The iFrame Widget makes it easy to “frame” outside content within your fan page.  This new widget is available to all TabSite users at the Silver and Gold Plan levels.

Users can now bring in outside content to their fan page by simply dragging the iFrame Widget into their Page builder area in the TabSite Manager.  A box will open allow you to enter the url of the outside webpage that is to appear on the fan page.   Then simply drag your widget to resize the height and width, and TabSite pulls in your outside content.

Since Fan Page’s have a maximum width of 520 pixels wide, any content your are bringing in wider than this will be visible via horizontal scrollbars.

Have a mobile site?  Simply grab the mobile url and use it in the iFrame Widget to bring all your mobile content to your Fan Page!

See it in action on the Da-Lite Screen fan page.  Again, this is available to all users at the Silver and Gold Plan levels!

TabSite Adds Locking Feature to Widgets

TabSite Lock WidgetNow, easily lock widgets in place to aid your design building in TabSite!

Our goal with the TabSite fan page platform is to continue to innovate and add more value and ease to our service for those customizing Facebook fan pages.

With that in mind, we are pleased to introduce our latest TabSite design feature, the ability to quickly and easily “Lock” a widget in place so it doesn’t move!  Now in a matter of minutes you can drag widgets like the Content Widget, Images, and a Google Map to your tab canvas area to create a wonderful Welcome tab for your fan page. 

Now, simply right click (PC or 2 button Mac) on any widget in the canvas work area or go to the Layers area and select “Lock” or “Unlock” to toggle the locking on or off. 

This locks the widget at the exact location on your tab design that you want.  Want to unlock?  Just follow the same steps to unlock the widget!  This gives you more power to set elements in the exact location you want and not worry about a slip of the mouse moving them.
