Often times were hear of the value of LinkedIn for B2B interactions such as reaching key stakeholders and generating new business leads.

Many times it is noted that LinkedIn is the only way to get past gatekeepers and interact with top brass in targeted companies.

While LinkedIn does provide great value as a B2B social marketing platform and should be considered as part of your social marketing mix, savvy business marketers should not  overlook Facebook as a important business space for reaching B2B customers!

Why Facebook should be part of your mix to reach B2B customers:

  • Numbers
    • Facebook has the greatest number of users by far
    • Facebook has a much higher number of minutes spent per user than other platforms
    • Zuckerberg’s creation has the greatest number of users over age 35
    • and business people do not stop thinking about business when on Facebook!
