FB Places Pages Now Have Default Landing Tab Option!

UPDATE NOTE: Facebook Timeline removed default landing tab option.

Great News!  Facebook just made a little adjustment and now with a Places page you can set the default Landing Tab that new visitors land on when they come to your Page.

Formerly, only Fan Pages offered this, and if you merged you Fan Page with your Places Page, you lost that control….BUT NOT MORE!

We are glad to see that Facebook responded to the requests of many users.

This is great news for TabSite users.  The TabSite App can be added to Fan Pages and Places Pages, and now both have the ability to make TabSite your Default Landing Tab for new visitors!

What’s next, the ability to control which tab ANYONE (NEW OR THOSE WHO HAVE ‘LIKED’ THE PAGE COME TO)???  WE CAN ONLY HOPE!

Anyway, if you’ve got a Places Page, make your TabSite tab the default Landing Page and give new visitors a custom message!
