Quick Tip: Changing Your Fan Page Tab Name

Here’s a quick tip to help you manage your fan page tab names.  Your Fan Page Admin on Facebook is the key!

If you delete a tab from your fan page left navigation, it is still in your Fan Page Admin area.  You can delete it there, add it back to the fan page there, change the name there, or reset the name (leaving it blank) to what you have it named in your TabSite Manager.  Here’s how you access this area:

1. Go to your Fan Page Wall on Facebook and in the upper right click “Edit Page.”

2. This brings you to the Admin area of your fan page with Admin options in the left navigation.  Click on “Apps”.

Find the app you want to add/remove/change the name of and click “Edit Settings”.

A pop-up box will appear.  Simply click “(remove)” or “(add)”and follow the prompts.

This allows you to work with a app tab on your page.  To reinstall, simply follow the same directions and click “(Add)” instead of remove.  You can name your tab here (changes it on the Fan Page, not in your TabSite manager area, or reset the name to what you have it named in the TabSite manager.  As noted in the image, “Leave blank to use the default name” and save it

Hope that tip helps!  Try our “How To” page for more help guides, videos, and picture tutorials.
